چکیده

Abstract We study the effects of velocity dispersion on formation primordial black holes (PBHs) in a matter-dominated era. The is generated through nonlinear growth perturbations and has potential to impede gravitational collapse thereby PBHs. To make discussions clear, we consider two distinct length scales. larger one where occurs which could lead PBH formation, smaller develops due interactions. estimate effect by comparing free-fall timescale for particle cross collapsing region. As demonstration, log-normal power spectrum initial density perturbation with peak value σ 0 2 at scale that corresponds scale. find threshold δ̃ th horizon entry scales as ∝ 2/5 ≪ 1.

Numerical investigation of the threshold for primordial black hole formation

First results of a numerical investigation of primordial black hole formation in the radiation dominated phase of the Early Universe are presented. The simulations follow the gravitational collapse of three different families of high-amplitude density fluctuations imposed at the time of horizon crossing. The threshold for black hole formation, δc ≈ 0.7, is found to be nearly identical for all p...

Primordial Black Hole Formation in Supergravity

We study a double inflation model (a preinflation + a new inflation) in supergravity and discuss the formation of primordial black holes which may be identified with massive compact halo objects (MACHOs) observed in the halo of our galaxy. The preinflation drives an inflaton for the new inflation close to the origin through supergravity effects and the new inflation naturally occurs. If the tot...

Dynamics of Primordial Black Hole Formation

Primordial overdensities seeded, for instance, by inflation or topological defects may collapse to primordial black holes (PBHs) during early radiation-dominated eras if they exceed a critical threshold [1,2]. This particular PBH formation process, which is examined in this paper, occurs when an initially super-horizon size region of order unity overdensity crosses into the horizon and recollap...

Primordial Black Hole Formation from Inflaton

Measurements of the distances to SNe Ia have produced strong evidence that the Universe is really accelarating, implying the existence of a nearly uniform component of dark energy with the simplest explanation as a cosmological constant. In this paper a small changing cosmological term is proposed, which is a function of a slow-rolling scalar field, by which the de Sitter primordial black holes...

The (unstable) Threshold of Black Hole Formation

In recent years it has become apparent that intriguing phenomenology exists at the threshold of black hole formation in a large class of general relativistic collapse models. This phenomenology, which includes scaling, self-similarity and universality, is largely analogous to statistical mechanical critical behaviour, a fact which was first noted empirically, and subsequently clarified by pertu...
